Five-day photo Exhibition on "New India-We Resolve to Make"

Secunderabad MP and former Union Minister Shri Bandaru Dattaterya urged people to participate in building New India by 2022 for which Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is striving for. Shri B Dattatreya was speaking at the inaguration of a five-day photo exhibtion organised by the Directirate of Advertsing and Visual Publicity (DAVP), Hyderabad, at Ghantasala Kala Vedika at Ravindra Bharati. Shri Dattatreya said that the Centre is doing its bit to develop States. He said that the Centre has been allocating necessary budgetary allocation for Central schemes to be implemented in the State. Stressing the need for more reforms in some sectors, the MP said there is more to do for removal of poverty in the country.He said that within a year of NDA government the farmers were able to get urea without any hassles. The Centre also provided Kisan Credit cards for farmers and the Fasal Bhima Yojana scheme gives reprive to farmers distress.He lauded the efforts of DAVP for organísing the show in the twin cities.He stressed the need for spreading the central schemes to every village.
Dr K Laxman, Musheerabad MLA, said every one should struggle to fulfill the dreams of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to develop the comutry.Irrespective of caste and creed everyone should strive to achieve the :New India vision of Prime Minister. He lauded the efforts of Prime Minister for taking up the mission by providing toilets in every household and protect the dignity of women.
Life Insurance Corporation of India Zonal Manager (Telangana, AP and Karnataka) TC Susheel Kumar and Principal Commissioner Shri Naresh Penumaka also spoke. DAVP Addl Director General Shri TVK Reddy welcomed the gathering, while Shri Suresh Dharmapuri, Exhibtion Officer, DAVP (Hyderabad) explained the photo exhibition on the theme New India - We  reslove to make. Earlier, MP Bandaru Dattareya and Dr K Laxman formally inaugurated the exhibition by lighting the lamp. Song and Drama Division presented cultural activities on the occasion.
The exhibition is being organised by the Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity (DAVP) ,Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to commemorate the 75 years of Quit India Movement and forthcoming 75 years of Independence in 2022. 
The exhibition focuses on India’s freedom movement from 1857 to 1947 showing the various activities initiated to attain the freedom from British rule – “The First War of Independence, 1857”, “The Champaran Satyagrah”, “The Non-Co-operation movement”, “The Dandi Yatra” and the Quit India Movement. Besides, the period of five years from 1942 to 1947 is reflected to show how the movement’s of India’s struggle for freedom transformed the entire country into one to fight for the freedom from the British Rule.
The vision of New India from 2017 to 2022 - when country will be celebrating 75 years of India’s Independence – is also showcased is the exhibition, which has multi-media and pictorial presentations.
The five year period from 2017 to 2022 is to give a unique opportunity of ‘Sankalp se Sidhi’ towards a ‘New India’. This programme is in tune with the mass campaign started by Prime Minister to take the six resolves to make the country free from corruption, poverty, filth, communalism; terrorism  and casteism.The exhbition will be open to public between 11 am to 7 pm till March 29,2018.
